FAQ's

  1. What style is best for my home?

Ask yourself these questions: What atmosphere do I wish to create? Warmth? Formalcy? Simplicity? Country? City? Retro?

Generally speaking, straight, crisp lines with white enamel paint grade lend itself to a more formal look; suited for a formal room or great room.

If you wish to convey warmth and relaxation, consider a true wood mantel (oak, maple, pine, etc). stained with a deep finish. Arched mantles give a more casual effect.

  2. At what stage of construction should we contact you?

The sooner the better. The installation of your fireplace surround is one of the final, crowning touches to your new home or renovation, yet, it should be one of your first considerations. Is the fireplace to fit between windows? Are you leaving enough room for the fireplace surround fit? Where are the electrical outlets going to be? Will the mantel cover the electrical outlet? What sort of fireplace will you purchase? Are you leaving enough room for clearance regulations?

  3. What type of wood can we use?

The most commonly chosen types of wood are OAK and MAPLE.
Other types of wood are available upon request.
