Shopping
What is a trip to Mexico without a little bit of shopping. There is an excellent, but somewhat hidden, artisian marketplace just up the street from Festival Plaza Hotel. Goods include wrought iron goods, blown glass, wood carvings and numerous other traditional Mexican art pieces. A drive down Blvd. Benito Juarez towards Ensenada will reveal many shops along the way that specialize in furniture, decorative pots, wrought iron furniture, clay decorative items for your home, iron works and other traditional art pieces.
Surfing
One of the most popular activities in and around Rosarito Beach. Northern Baja has some excellent breaks including Baja Malibu, Calafia, K38, and San Miguel.
Ride Horses or ATV's
Yes, the beach is covered with all terrain vehicles and horses. You can have the waves, dolphins, and whales as your backdrop. You can usually rent either at the beach in front of Papa's and Beer.
Wine Country Tour
One of Mexico's hidden secret is their wine. The valleys of Calafia, Guadalupe and San Antonio de las Minas are the heart of the wine country tour that extends also to the north to the Valley of the Palmas and to the south to the Valleys of St. Tomas and San Vicente Ferre.
Bicycle Ride
Head to Baja California for this award-winning, 50 mile bicycle ride along the Pacific Coast, and inland, through rural countryside from Rosarito Beach to Ensenada.
The gray whale is the most common species seen near the coast of Baja. Other whales are present but tend to seek deeper waters while the gray whale's swim in shallow waters seeking Baja's many lagoons for calving.

Foxploration allows visitors to discover tricks of the film making process within the context of a working movie studio. Come see where Titanic, Master and Commander to name a few were filmed. Tour the Titanic ship, and re-discover where Jack and Rose fell in love.
Golf
Rosarito Beach is located between two golf courses, just a few miles north The Real Del Mar Golf Course, to the south the Baja Mar Golf Course. REAL DEL MAR course has 18 holes, and is located on the Scenic Road between Playas de Tijuana and Rosarito. BAJAMAR is located on the Scenic Road south of Rosarito, this course has 27 holes.
